The Role
The Director of AI Applications at Openchip will drive the adoption of our AI technologies in real-world industries such as healthcare, cybersecurity, and robotics. This role involves collaborating with partners and customers to develop tailored AI applications while leveraging state-of-the-art AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LLM fine-tuning, AI workflow automation, and high-performance computing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of AI-powered applications across industries such as healthcare, cybersecurity, robotics, and HPC.
Collaborate with customers and partners to design and implement domain-specific AI solutions leveraging Openchip’s technology.
Spearhead AI fine-tuning initiatives, working with large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems.
Build AI agentic workflows utilizing cutting-edge frameworks such as LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies.
Define strategies for AI application scalability, deployment, and optimization on Openchip hardware.
Bridge AI research and real-world application development, ensuring business value through AI innovation.
Establish partnerships with academia, industry leaders, and research institutions to enhance Openchip’s AI capabilities.

Qualifications
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Proven track record of leading AI application development in an enterprise or research setting.
Deep expertise in LLM fine-tuning, AI workflow orchestration, and AI-powered product development.
Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and RAG-based approaches.
Strong understanding of AI application pipelines, data engineering, and AI-driven automation.
Experience working with AI models for real-world applications in industries such as healthcare, security, or robotics.
Soft Skills
