What You’ll Do:
As the primary point of contact for several critical production SaaS applications, you will configure, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues as necessary.
Ensure critical SLAs are met which will include shifts and on-call schedule for emergencies.
Evangelize, plan, and coordinate implementation and improvements of Disaster Recovery, failover, incident management, and geo-redundant solutions of our existing SaaS applications
Develop automated solutions for collecting, analyzing, and acting on telemetry and log data from applications.
Leverage previous experiences and industry best practices to monitor and improve cloud infrastructure of our SaaS applications.
What You’ll Need:
8+ years of relevant experience in DevOps or Site Reliability or Cloud Administration
Demonstrable experience with integrating, upgrading, securing, and supporting software systems in a heterogeneous operating system environment
Experience with Azure as a Cloud Administrator with a deep understanding of Microservices on Kubernetes, cloud concepts, and cloud security
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Site 24x7, Azure Log Analytics, AWS CloudWatch and ELK stack
Experience with security and privacy certifications like FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR etc.
Excellent knowledge of different redundancy and backup and disaster recovery approaches in the cloud
We’d Love to See:
Experience writing PowerShell/Python scripts or modules and markup language files such as XML, JSON, and/or YAML as well as familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (C#, Go, JavaScript, etc.)
Deep understanding of firewalls, VLANs, NAT, NACLs, Load Balancing, VPN tunnels, DNS, DHCP, and packet filtering
Experience with Terraform template creation and execution and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps
Experience with creating monitoring dashboards in Datadog and PowerBI
