Role Overview:
As a Back-End Engineer at fyaora LABS, you will be pivotal in developing the core back-end services of our cross-platform platform. You will design, scale, and maintain the cloud architecture on AWS to power three essential interfaces:
Customer-facing application.
Service provider-facing interface.
Admin console.
This role involves close collaboration with front-end, mobile, and DevOps teams to ensure high performance, seamless integration, and reliability across all platforms. Your work will be essential in ensuring that all user-facing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:Architect and build scalable and robust back-end services using Node.js.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway).
Implement real-time features such as instant notifications and updates using Socket.io or Pusher.
Automate and manage payment processing via Stripe.js, along with integrating accounting systems like Plaid for efficient financial operations.
Ensure secure API communication by utilizing JWT for token-based authentication, integrated with Firebase Authentication or Auth0.
Collaborate with front-end and mobile development teams to guarantee seamless, secure data flow across the three interfaces.
Optimize the scalability and performance of back-end services to ensure reliability for a growing user base.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or CircleCI for automated testing and deployment.
Use tools like Postman and Swagger to document and test APIs to maintain clean, maintainable code.
Monitor performance and security using Sentry and AWS CloudWatch, addressing any issues to maintain system integrity.
Proficiency Requirements:Node.js expertise for developing and managing APIs (REST and GraphQL via Axios or Apollo Client).
Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
Experience implementing real-time communication features using Socket.io or Pusher.
Knowledge of Stripe.js for payment processing and Plaid for financial integration.
Proficient in JWT, Auth0, or Firebase Authentication for secure API integration.
