Role Description
Planning, coordinating, facilitating and conducting Front Office testing as part of wider Integration Testing with Middle Office, Back Office and Data
Leading a multi-vendor team across multiple phases of testing (SIT/UAT/NFT/Regression), with competing priorities
Working with the overall Programme Test Manager (and other Test Leads) to build a tailored E2E test approach, clearly calling out risks and effectively managing dependencies
Developing a specific Front Office testing strategy, working with client teams to determine which instruments and markets are in scope of testing and leading/facilitating user profile testing
Understanding the different types of data used within Investment Management, combined with knowledge/experience within Investment Management
Collaborating with end clients to address any queries around front office testing
Overseeing front office defects across all phases, providing input on validity of said defects, and supporting fix teams/clients, where required
Support with programme reporting and be able to articulate testing progress to senior testing and programme stakeholders
An awareness of automation and its benefits within front office testing
Professional Experience / Skillset
Proven Testing experience on large/complex programmes
Investment Management/Asset Servicing experience (knowledge and understanding of Asset Classes, Investment processes, Portfolio Management etc), either through industry or programme delivery
Understanding of the use cases and applications of data within Investment Management (in particular, data attributes for asset types)
Test management tool proficiency (JIRA/HP ALM)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication
