We’ve accomplished a lot with a small but skilled team, and are looking for a QA to help scale our business development, service delivery, and product teams, while reporting directly to our Engineering Manager, collaborating once a week in our Sheffield based office.

Main responsibilities and duties

Manual and API testing of a multi-tenant SaaS product in an Agile environment including cross-browser with an emphasis on mobile first.
Collaborate with senior tech and product-focused colleagues to ensure that a fit for purpose solution can be delivered.
Iterate requirements and your understanding of requirements with those providing them to ensure limited wastage by you and the team.
Produce high quality test plans, reviewing the plans of peers and direct reports as required, and as part of an overall approach to quality assurance.
Implement and advocate standards and approaches agreed with the QA function.
Ensure that documentation to enable easy on-boarding of new team members exists and is up-to-
date.

Essential Skills:

Demonstrable experience in software testing / development, including an understanding of the different methods of testing.
Strong experience in test design test techniques, test plan creation and test case management.
Experience of testing multi-tenant Sass product(s).
API testing using Postman or other tools.
Azure Devops.

Preferable/to be developed:

Experience, knowledge and understanding of legal tech to help deliver important outcomes for
real people and companies.

Person Specification
Qualifications

ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification (desirable)
Degree in ICT or related field (desirable)

Skills

Communicate regularly, openly and honestly, using voice and video primarily, backing up agreements made with succinct documentation on slack (or company instant messaging system that is in place at the time).
