Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Advisory to join us as part of our Healthcare and Insurance (H&I) Leadership team at Hexaware in the UK.
The ideal consultant will provide strategic technology advice to our insurance customers, helping them to leverage a combination of contemporary technologies and our own offerings to achieve their business objectives.
This role requires a good understanding of the insurance industry, strong technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The objective of the role is to support Hexaware’s Growth strategy by working with our Account teams to identify opportunities for Customers and create relevant, targeted solutions to help our customers exploit those opportunities using a range of suitable technologies and Hexaware offerings. The success of this role will depend on the jobholders ability to build strong stakeholder relationships with our customers C-Suite where you will bring thought leadership to the table, including relevant technology insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic technology advice to insurance customers, helping them to align their IT strategy with their business goals.
Technology Roadmap: Develop and present technology roadmaps that address the current and future needs of insurance customers.
Innovation: Identify and recommend innovative technologies and solutions that can improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
Risk Management: Advise on technology risk management, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Vendor Management: Assist customers in selecting and managing technology vendors and partners.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand their business challenges and provide tailored technology solutions.
Solutioning: Work with our Account teams to build propositions that meet Customers needs, corralling the wider Hexaware as required to assemble the constituent parts of the proposed Solution.
Thought Leadership: Help increase Hexaware’s brand value by representing us at industry events, conferences, and forums to share insights, best practices and customer success stories.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or extensive relevant experience in a similar role.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role or working as a CTO advisor, with a focus on the insurance industry.
Technical Expertise: Passionate about Technology with a strong technical background and experience as a hands-on Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions.
Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.

- In 2020 NUH created an Acute Rescue Team (ART) on the City campus. The purpose of this team is to improve the standard and timeliness of care provided to acutely unwell and deteriorating patients. This is a team of four in addition to a fifth Patient Safety Fellow working within patient safety. We are seeking a colleague to join our ART team from August 6th 2025 for 12 months. During the tenure of the post, there will be the opportunity to work ‘in hours’ for 6 months in each of two specialties – Haematology, Respiratory, Renal or Cardiology. There is also the option to remain in one specialty for the full 12 months. Doctors will work their ‘normal working days’ (Monday to Friday) in their base specialty, usually 09:00 – 17:00. Their ‘on calls’ will be working twilight shifts 16:30 – 02:30 as a block of Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday with a 1 in 5 frequency. We aim to hold interviews on Friday 11th April for this post. The ART Fellow's are service posts so do not have educational approval, but successful applicants will be provided with excellent training and educational opportunities, tailored to meet individual needs. Where service provision allows, successful applicants are encouraged to attend educational teaching sessions. NUH is a leader in the field of using new data sets to improve doctor experience/training, and has forged strong research links with the University of Nottingham. There will be opportunities to be involved in exciting and innovative projects around the use of novel IT solutions and app development.
