Role Overview
The Business Analyst will extract, analyse, and present data from our IFS ERP system, building clear, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports for all levels of the organisation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, they will lead process improvement initiatives, automate manual workflows, and help implement data-driven strategies that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and interpret data from IFS ERP, creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend data-driven solutions.
Automation & Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to automate manual tasks and improve system workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with teams across finance, supply chain, operations, and engineering to support data-driven decision-making.
Business Strategy Support: Provide insights that contribute to cost analysis, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs and reporting structures to measure success across different business functions.
Training & Support: Educate teams on how to interpret and utilise data effectively in their decision-making processes.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Experience
3-5 years in a Business Analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Skills
Proficiency in ERP systems (IFS preferred, but not essential).
Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
Experience with process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Communication & Collaboration: Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, explaining data insights in a clear and compelling way.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
