Purpose of the Role

The Assistant Financial Analyst will be a member of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team, with wide-ranging responsibilities. The FP&A team is a critical function of the organization that works with all businesses, functions and levels of the organization to achieve short- and long-term growth

objectives. This role has executive management exposure and offers the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge of global operations.

Main responsibilities

Support the production & review of AOP, monthly, quarterly & long-term forecasts of Europe P&L & Balance sheet.
Loading monthly forecasts to OneStream.
Responsibility for Actual & Forecast SG&A spend including report generation, review & validation. Tracking of key deliverables for presentation to business partners & manage spend to ensure P&L accurately reflects activities.
Perform month end close activities on corporate spend & coordination of accruals & prepayments. Provide guidance on journal entry reclassifications, allocations and corrections through self-directed research, consideration of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and review of relevant financial data. Calculate intragroup recharges.
Reporting and development of Daily & Weekly KPIs.
Production & analysis of short term cashflow forecast.
Analysis of working capital cycle & tracking of related initiatives.
Review of fixed asset projects. Reporting spend & maintenance of Forecast capex outlay, depreciation & amortisation.
Partner with colleagues & embrace new technology to develop effective & efficient financial models & processes to facilitate reporting.
Assist in the production of month & quarter-end financial presentations.
Day to day management of student interns.
Support other functions within the Finance & Accounting teams, when required.
Involvement in new software implementations.
Opportunity to participate in Leadership Development programme.
Lead & contribute to internal audit of safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

A degree in finance or accounting or related field preferred.
Previous experience of a finance and accounting role.
Ability to manage competing priorities with ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication and influencing across various levels in the organization.
Excellent organizational skills including but not limited to project planning & time management
Advanced Excel skills required & Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred.
Experience of Power BI reporting.
Experience with financial systems (e.g. OneStream, HFM, Hyperion Essbase) preferred
