We are seeking an experienced Logistics Planner focusing on material flow and line-side planning for new model planning. Demonstrable success in the fast-paced world of global supply chain management within the automotive or aerospace industries will be of special interest. Responsible for the design and implementation of robust processes and management. Grounded in the now with a clear view of the future, delivering change and innovation in an environment of continuous improvement. Working in our logistics planning team with cross-functional relationships across new product launch, future projects, and bespoke customer individualisation teams.

Key Accountabilities
Tasks
New vehicle project planning for new parts and process introduction with high complexity.
Planning of external and internal material flows from supplier to point of assembly using methods and tools of value stream design.
Establishing layouts for logistical structure elements such as block storage, supermarkets, internal transport routes, and layout optimisations.
Planning of equipment such as racking, internal transport systems, and handling devices.
Cost evaluation of process change impact on transport, handling, and headcount.
Decision making based on analysis and visualisation of data.

Interfaces
Cross-functional liaison with external suppliers and internal process partners in planning, production, purchasing, and IT.
Regular communication with production-related functions in physical logistics and manufacturing.
Close collaboration with the company network locally and internationally.
Alignment with logistics service providers to achieve company standards.

Skills and Qualifications
University degree or relevant professional experience.
Formal demonstrable qualification and training in logistics planning.
Excellent knowledge of logistics processes.
Ability to analyse and evaluate data.
Knowledge of SAP, MS Office tools, Power BI & VBA coding are advantageous.
Experienced in time management and priority setting.
Excellent communication skills, ability to influence at all levels of the business.
German language skills highly advantageous.

Knowledge of FRS 101 & 102, financial statement preparation, consolidation, and implementation of new standards. Experience in maintaining control frameworks and documenting controls. Background in external and internal audits, including liaising with stakeholders to ensure timely completion. Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify inconsistencies, and explain variances. Excellent communication skills for explaining technical accounting issues clearly, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in Excel and other office technologies.
