Hays Senior Finance are exclusively partnering with an established Housing association based in Gloucestershire who on an exciting journey of growth. We’re looking for a Finance Change and Improvement Management Accountant to play a key role in driving efficiency, automation, and consistency across our finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to improve financial processes, enhance reporting, and support better decision-making across the business.
Reporting to the head of finance, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions that streamline financial reporting and processes. You’ll support the transition to a regional finance structure, ensuring high-quality outputs, consistency, and automation to reduce manual workloads.
A key part of your role will be enhancing financial systems, including Pamwin and COINS, to provide more accurate and insightful reporting that guides strategic decisions.
You’ll ensure accurate financial accounts, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts while supporting budgeting and financial modelling. Collaboration will be central as you work alongside finance teams and business planning colleagues to improve forecasting and deliver robust financial insights. You’ll also contribute to regulatory reporting, taxation, and compliance, ensuring the business meets its financial obligations.
Beyond the numbers, you’ll champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging colleagues to embrace change and new ways of working. You’ll build strong relationships across the business, helping to create a finance function that is proactive, efficient, and future-focused.
This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months, working full-time. You will be based at my clients head office office in Tewkesbury with travel to our other workspaces across the South West and Midlands with regular home working available. The role requires a DBS check.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA) with post-qualification experience.
Strong background in business partnering, ideally in construction or housing associations.
Excellent finance and operational systems knowledge, with expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and business process management.
Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams.
Proven ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and drive business improvements.
Experience leading change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Strong process mapping and data analysis skills; experience with Microsoft D365, Power BI, or Visio is a plus.
Highly organised, methodical, and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative and results-driven, with strong people skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.

Your new company
A market leading business based in Bristol is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the business on a Fixed Term Contract to start in April 2025.
Your new role
You will report into the Head of Accounting and Reporting and be responsible for preparing and owning cashflow reporting, supporting statutory financial reporting and ensuring there are robust controls in place across the business. You will partner with internal finance teams, external auditors and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights. The role will include:
Lead in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS
Preparation and ownership of monthly cashflow reports
Review month end close
Supporting financial controls ensuring they are accurate and compliant
Work with the wider finance teams and external stakeholders
Support agendas for change or business improvement
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone that will be available to start a contract in April / early May and will run for 15 months. You must have strong IFRS and financial statement preparation and proven experience in cashflow reporting. You will be able to analyse complex financial data and translate that into meaningful insights to be used by the wider business. It would also be advantageous if you had Microsoft D365 experience. The role is easily commutable from the m4 / m5, and you must be able to access the office every week, although hybrid working is available.
What you'll get in return
The role offers a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 and comes with additional benefits. You will also be entitled to the companies' bonus scheme.

Summary
The employee will be joining an existing team of 4 people to assist with a client migration to Wealth Management UK. The role will heavily include the completion of both hedge and mutual fund account opening documentation, regular and timely contact with fund administrators about said applications, regular contact with the counterparts tracking the ever evolving population of assets and keeping track of the status of the accounts.
The task force is wholly responsible for ensuring that we are ready to receive the full population of migrating assets. There will also be involvement with wider teams discussing and pre-empting potential blockers and restrictions and proactively driving for solutions to make the migration as seamless as possible.
An understanding of different asset types and requirements is necessary, previous experience with hedge funds and fund administrators is desirable. A knowledge of asset transfers, swift instructions, the CREST market and a previous role in an operations environment would be recommended.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include:
Completing account opening documentation for a Nominee.
Closely tracking the account opening and following up with the administrator for any requirements in order to get the accounts in order asap.
Assisting in identifying any risk/problem assets and escalating accordingly.
Processing the transfers of assets.
Reconciling positions and proactively working to fix any breaks in a timely manner.
Requirements
The requirements of the role include:
An Understanding of different asset types and how they operate (hedge funds, mutual funds, bonds, equities etc.)
Knowledge of mutual funds and/or hedge fund administrators.
Understanding of hedge funds and the complexity of the product.
Knowledge of Microsoft/Excel, ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project led team.
High organisational and communication skills.

Join a leading telecommunications provider as a .NET Developer in a Network Strategy & Engineering team!
Job Overview: As a .NET Developer, you will be part of the Network Strategy & Engineering, Systems & Tools, Tooling Development Team, who develop and support a variety of web-based systems used to help the Network Strategy & Engineering business unit ensure the successful running and expansion of our client’s nationwide cable and mobile network.
Contract Length: 6 months
Daily Rate: £500 per day via umbrella (inside IR35)
Location: Cambridge (twice per week on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, configure, and deploy enterprise solutions hosted on-premise and in the cloud.
Use established development tools and frameworks including ASP.NET Core MVC, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, SQL Server, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.
Prepare and maintain code for various web-based .NET applications.
Participate in an agile team using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
Run agile meetings, code reviews, and coaching, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Key Requirements:
