Job Specifications
An established multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire a Global Head of Support for their London office. With offices across various locations, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a global team who are responsible for providing end user technical support for the entire organisation, including C-level stakeholders, PM's and traders.
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing global desktop teams with the hedge fund/trading space to be considered for this role. The role will involve overseeing the day to day operations of the desktop engineering and service desk functions, whilst providing technical expertise for any trade floor related incidents and technologies.
Key Requirements
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
10 years + experience working in desktop/end user support within a trade floor environment (buy side preferred)
Experience managing global support teams
Technical background in desktop/IT support; including trading systems, networking and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Jira, Service Now or other service management frameworks

About you Experience of managing applications running in a Cloud environment providing operational support, solving, tuning, upgrade & optimisation Mentoring or leadership experience Knowledge/experience of service mesh Strong familiarity with source code repositories and other tools, particularly Git Experience across the entire software development process from inception, through build to production.
