They are currently going through a steady period of strong performance having successfully ventured into new asset classes and performed very well across existing trading desks.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior C# Developer to join their post-trade development team, a team that builds the systems and applications that cover all areas of the fund outside of the core trading systems and quantitative development teams. This includes trade reconciliation, trade capture, reporting and middle office. This presents the successful candidate a chance to work on multiple projects across many business areas and get direct exposure to the business as well as cutting edge technologies.


Key Requirements:
5+ years of professional software development experience e.g., C#, Python, C++
Collaborative nature and ability to work in a team e.g., partnering with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and technologists.
Strong interest in keeping abreast of latest technologies and a measured approach for adopting them.
Comfortable with problem solving across multiple technologies and business domains.

What Would Be Useful:

Job Description

Referment is working with a leading London based hedge fund, known to be at the forefront of technology and innovation. They have a role open in a team which is responsible for researching and implementing new technologies into the environment and working with other development teams on business critical projects, most of which involve building distributed systems and making the technology stack more stream native.

The successful candidate should be a very strong OO programmer and have extensive experience with data streaming tools like Kafka or Flink. You will get the opportunity to work with many different teams and departments across the fund, presenting the successful applicant a chance to learn a lot about the world of finance whilst working with the latest technologies.

Key Requirements

Expert knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Flink
