Overview of the Role:
Position Purpose: Support for the Delta Phase One implementation at the client, focusing on statistical computing environments. The role aims to alleviate operational tasks from internal staff, enabling them to focus on managerial responsibilities.
Project Context:
The project involves replacing and upgrading systems for analyzing clinical study data to ensure medicines' efficacy and safety.
Phase One implementation has already started.
Desired Candidate Profile:
General Requirements:
Blend of technical knowledge and domain expertise—neither purely IT-focused nor business-focused.
Ideal candidates should have experience in setting up, migrating, or supporting statistical computing environments.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical systems is highly preferred.
Should be familiar with Agile methodologies and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills:
o Experience with statistical computing environments, such as SAS or R, though not required to be programmers.
o Familiarity with tools used for project and product management.
o General understanding of pharmaceutical data workflows and secure data handling.
Soft Skills:
o Proactive and flexible under time pressure.
o Strong collaboration and communication abilities, working well in hybrid or remote setups.
Logistics and Practicalities:
Localization and Availability:
o Primarily HQ-based but remote work is acceptable.
o Candidates from Belgium and Europe are prioritized. No candidates from the UK, US, or Germany due to process differences.
Workload:
o Preferably a full-time (100%) candidate, though 75% FTE for a senior profile may be considered.
