We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst for our Substance Misuse Service in West Kent Prisons (HMP Rochester, Maidstone and East Sutton Park and HMP Rochester Annex (formerly known as HMP Cookham Wood) Our focus is to facilitate recovery, reinforce hope and support lifestyle change with prisoners engaging with our service.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

Full Time Hours 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range £30,134.90 - £34,214.21 dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours
About the role
Ensure data processes and systems are efficient, effective and meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Develop and maintain prediction and tracking systems for performance.
Develop and provide financial information in relation to contract requirements.
Recognise and understand key performance indicators and prepare regular data quality and performance reports to respective teams and stakeholders.
Conduct data analysis to discover useful insight and valuable information and provide creative suggestions to make changes in service delivery where needed.
Undertake data analysis to ensure activity, performance and all other reporting needs are met.
Work closely with Healthcare Clinical Substance Misuse Team Data Analyst/Administrators.
Liaise as appropriate with IT Providers, to include Prison and Healthcare IT Teams, ensuring staff access to prison Quantum and Healthcare SystmOne Case Management Tool.
Collation of data for input into partnership meetings to include Drug Strategy, Reducing Reoffending and Quality Board.
Reporting to local healthcare commissioners to include performance, workforce management, Safeguarding data and Incident Reporting

Excellent communication skills.
Excellent analytic skills and can use data to tell our story.
Excellent time management skills and can manage an ever-changing workload and meet deadlines.
Excellent experience and knowledge of Excel.
An ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
