Proximus’ newly created center of excellence for AI and Cybersecurity, the mission of the Security Management and CSIRT teams is to protect Proximus, its customers, its business, its operations and reputation against external and internal threats. You will be fascinated by a highly dynamic environment, the strong collaboration and some deep technical aspects.

As a Security for AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the security of our codebase and artificial intelligence systems, ensuring the protection of our products and services from potential threats and vulnerabilities. We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in security, particularly in the areas of code security and AI, who can collaborate closely with our development teams through code.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure coding practices and protocols to prevent vulnerabilities and threats in our AI-based projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle of our AI products and services.
Propose and implement a clean way of automating the assessment of the security maturity of our deployed projects and models.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in AI security, including emerging threats and countermeasures.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced security professional with a strong background in secure coding practices, AI security, and software development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for staying current with the latest developments in the field. You should be a self-motivated and collaborative individual who can grow our expertise in security related to code and AI, and contribute to the development of a culture of security awareness within our organization.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience with secure coding practices and protocols, including secure coding guidelines and standards (e.g. OWASP).
Knowledge of AI security threats and countermeasures, including adversarial attacks and defenses.
Familiarity with industry-standard security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing frameworks.
Ability to drive innovation by experimenting with new techniques and frameworks to solve real-world problems.
Strong communication skills for providing technical support, mentorship, and clear guidance to team members.
Experience in data science is a plus.
Experience with Azure is a big plus.

Languages

Fluent in English and preferably also French and/or Dutch.
