The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Solutions leads the Cyber Solutions team to build a world-class sales specialist capability for BT’s Security Solutions, helping customers grow their digital businesses securely. It involves integrating various security products and focusing on Cloud and Managed Security, Security Advisory Services, and Mobile Security. You'll drive Cyber Security solution sales in both UK public and private sectors, emphasising large and complex deals. It requires building strong relationships with senior customers, influencing C-suite executives, and working with Vertical Directors to prioritise major acquisition targets. As the leader, you'll develop a consultancy-led capability, upskill specialists, and manage stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs and position BT ahead of competitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead a team that owns the SOVGM and volume target across the entire security portfolio and the strategy of how this will be achieved, including interlocking with Private and Public MDs at a Vertical level.
Drive improvements in deal size and win rates, including acting as the customer voice into our product and field sales organisations, and driving improvements to our deal qualification framework.
Lead and act as a centre of excellence for all elements of technology areas that sit within Cyber Security solutions across BT Business UK.
Use external and internal networks to adapt sales plans and capabilities to changing market forces, competitor activity and customer opportunities
Regular customer engagement and influence the C suite level (including CIO, CTO, CSO) and as the Cyber Security leader you must be comfortable operating at this level, being a role model for the team to do likewise.
Responsible for resource mix and allocation of sales team based on market opportunity to deliver sales plans including business development and acquisition objectives.

What We Want To See From You

Significant experience leading a professional sales organisation covering one or more of the following disciplines: Sales Specialists, Major Deals, Acquisition, Bid Management across both Public Sector and Private Sector customers for security, networking and cloud and data centre technologies.
Understanding of vendor partner landscape and the comparative strengths and weaknesses of each vendor in terms of solutions, engagement strategy and relationship management.
Extensive experience and track record in large deal pursuit and driving sales growth
Experience influencing Sales Directors to adopt a challenging growth strategy, selling the right products and solutions for our ambition (rather than the easiest ones to sell).
Advanced personal sales experience in Telco or Technology sectors with proven credibility to operate at C-suite level with multi-national customers.
