Role Description

Planning, coordinating, facilitating and conducting Middle Office testing as part of wider Integration Testing with Front Office, Back Office and Data
Leading a multi-vendor team across multiple phases of testing (SIT/UAT/NFT/Regression), with competing priorities
Working with the overall Programme Test Manager (and other Test Leads) to build a tailored E2E test approach, clearly calling out risks and effectively managing dependencies
Developing a specific Middle Office testing strategy, covering areas of testing including, but not limited to, Investment Book of Records, Cash Management and Corporate Actions
Understanding the different types of data used within Investment Management, combined with knowledge/experience within Investment Management
Collaborating with end clients to address any queries around E2E testing
Overseeing middle office defects across all phases, providing input on validity of said defects, and supporting fix teams/clients, where required
Support with programme reporting and be able to articulate testing progress to senior testing and programme stakeholders
An awareness of automation and its benefits within middle office testing

Professional Experience / Skillset

Proven Testing experience on large/complex programmes
Investment Management/Asset Servicing experience (knowledge and understanding of Asset Classes, Investment processes, Portfolio Management etc), either through industry or programme delivery
Understanding of the use cases and applications of data within Investment Management (in particular, data attributes for asset types)
Test management tool proficiency (JIRA/HP ALM)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication

Desirable Experience

A proven track record in a top tier consultancy
Exposure to Investment Management/Asset Management platforms such as, CRD, BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp, Thinkfolio etc

Review, update, maintain and report the serviceability status including deferred defects (ADD-B/ADD-M) for the Wizz Air UK Fleet to the organisation ensuring accurate and correct data is displayed. Manage and coordinate AOG recoveries Track and analyse repetitive defects across the fleet. Obtain approved data from/liaise with TC holder, STC holder or part 21 DOA for approval conditions whenever a/c damages are not covered by approved maintenance data and/or when intensive troubleshooting is required. Work with OCC (Operations Control Centre) to update the maintenance plan as a result of changes to the day-to-day operation, to minimise schedule disruption. Monitor in real time the ACARS/AVIATAR reporting platform for any aircraft faults and plan the appropriate actions. Update AMOS with opened ATL pages and WO/WPs at outstations.
