Job Description:
I have partnered with a large-scale Financial services company who are leading in the GCC region.
They are looking for an LPO who has worked in a large bank/ Financial company and will be the right hand to the Head of Network and Security, looking after the Network team, Data centers, building strategy, looking at budgets through to execution of new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and manage a team of network professionals.
Covering Network Switching & Routing Infrastructure and links across all locations and Datacenters.
Provide strategic and thought leadership to the team of engineers who are responsible for the Network products.
Be accountable for the overall platform operational stability and lead the product engineering strategy and lifecycle.
Lead the implementation of network solutions such as DC Network, WAN, LAN, cloud networking, IPSec tunnels, routing, switching, Open Networking, network automation, network observability, network monitoring
Assist in keen oversight of the performance, stability, security, and operations of the network solutions engineered by the team.
Be up to date with the relevant product releases and continuously conduct research and development to carefully select the features that will required to be in the relevant products’ backlog.
Ensure the organization is adhering to security best practices and principles.
Drive technical projects and take ownership and responsibility for the overall planning, execution and success of complex initiatives.
Participate and partner with architecture and Information Security in the design and implementation of the network strategy.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to develop scalable and resilient solutions.
Participate in the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of network solutions, applications and infrastructure services.
Assist with on-call escalation and Level 3 support as needed.
Influence standards and platforms for future application development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science or Equivalent
