As a Director, Data Science & AI , you will operate as an executive SME, inspiring teams of data science and AI experts to support clients' in achieving strategic business aims. This consultancy work across most core industries including Retail, Travel, Financial Services, Telecommunications and Technology, and also have a very strong footing in Private Equity.


Typical projects include data science for performance improvement, customer engagement and pricing effectiveness, network optimisation and machine learning to drive improved enterprise operations, including supply chain and procurement.


At this grade, traditional management consultancy experience is essential, and experience of working within an enterprise is valued highly also. You will form an integral part of this high performing team, fostering strong relationships with other cross-functional teams in broader strategic consulting and supporting the Partners in scaling the team and client portfolio.


You will leverage exceptional problem-solving skills, working directly with c-suite and founders looking to achieve results at pace, therefore you need to be skilled in, and comfortable with, delivering the most impactful solution, in short sprints.


Skills & experience required:

Educated to at least degree level in a quantitative subject; Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics etc.
Deep experience in data science across a range of areas required, such as personalisation, pricing, forecasting, GenAI, NLP, classification and regression.
Strong programming and modelling skills using SQL and Python required, working with large volumes of complex data.
Expert in cultivating and nurturing client stakeholder relationships, designing data science and AI solutions.
Management consultancy experience is essential for this role.
