Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing start-up company who provide a platform to allow small local shops and grocery stores to serve customers online.
Responsibilities:
Extending API’s for the App Development team
Developing new features and API's in Laravel
Working on unit tests as well as wider performance optimisation
Maintenance of legacy code base (bespoke PHP)
Integrating platform with third parties (e.g. EPOS and payment gateways)
Performing code reviews and supporting less experienced devs
Supporting with the planning of more complex projects
Experience:
Extensive experience developing with PHP and Laravel
Experienced working as a Senior Developer
Previous experience working for a start-up company
Strong working knowledge of AWS
Frontend development knowledge and experience of JavaScript and React will be hugely beneficial
Salary
They offer an excellent salary package: up to £70,000 depending on experience + multiple potential bonuses, including potential shares in company!
Location
The client is based in the UK and this is a FULLY REMOTE role from within the UK.

- About The Role Purpose Working in the IT Infrastructure team, the Deskside Support Engineer is responsible for providing efficient and effective first and second line technical support to end-users across multiple office locations.
