Location: 3-5 days' work onsite depending on client activities through this time. Candidate need to be Portsmouth based.
Duration: 6 months

Rate: £402/day Inside Ir35

MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA

Role Description:
• Able to prepare EMC test setup and execute the testing and make sure test specifications are followed in correct order.
• Closely work with clients to understand point of focus on the testing and help investigating EMC test failures
• Involve in Engaging with EMC test labs on behalf of clients and making sure timely closure of test schedule
• Formally Log test setup, product condition (before, during test and after test), and creating and maintaining clear test records
• Able to review EMC Test results and feedback consolidated view to clients on the findings.
• Able to co-ordinate and work with testing team, help maintaining the test facilities.
• Regularly monitor test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults
• Familiarity with EMC testing equipment's and standards for defense and Aerospace
• Ability to communicate clearly/confidently and in-deal with clients.

Main duties of the job The Main Duties Of The Job Include Take the lead in managing a diverse portfolio of service and maintenance contracts that support the Estates and Facilities Division. This includes overseeing the delivery, development, and management of contracts to ensure high performance standards and value for money while fostering strong relationships with key suppliers. Provide expert guidance on procurement and contract management, advising customers and colleagues on contractual matters to ensure compliance with procurement legislation and other statutory regulations. Stay informed about legislative changes and implement new policies, practices, and procedures accordingly. Lead quotation and tender exercises, as well as complex procurement processes, in line with relevant public procurement regulations. Regularly analyse data to identify opportunities for service improvements and cost savings. Oversee the output specifications of existing contracts to ensure efficient service delivery, with clear and well-communicated performance reporting. Implement system controls for managing contract variations and proactively address areas of concern by developing and executing remedial action plans. Working collaboratively with the Contracts Administrator to ensure digital record keeping is maintained and that supplier payments are processed with efficiency and accuracy.
