What do we need
We are looking for an SDET to join our team. Working on groundbreaking Scientific Software products such as LUMA. You will support the team by improving the quality of Dotmatics’ solutions by creating test plans, maintaining automation test suites, testing and documenting test results , and the latest software development practices to the team, In this role you will work with developers, application scientists and DevOps to identify, reproduce, report and test bugs and fixes. This role has a focus on automation testing but may also involve various aspects of manual testing.

In this role you will get to
Work on automation first test approach, working with development teams to collectively assert the system under test
Maintain and improve automation execution, code quality and development processes
Work towards a full CI/CD implementation
Work with leading experts in development, scientific product management and other excellent SDETs

We are looking for people who have at least 5 years’ experience in QA/Testing with at least 4 years in Automated Testing, can work autonomously with attention to detail and in a methodical nature.

The Key Skills we are looking for
Proficiency in Cypress with experience in commands, debugging, plugins, Shadow DOM, React and Page Objects.
Typescript features (interfaces, generics, etc.) and asynchronous programming
Test Case Design and Documentation
Ability to understand API documentation and write clear documentation for tests, frameworks, and processes.
Understanding GIT, GIT workflows and general branch management with tracking tools such as JIRA.

You may also have:
Ability to create performance tests in frameworks such as K6
Understanding of test approaches to prove data integrity on release upgrades
