Roles & Responsibilities

As a Microsoft Purview Consultant specializing in data security and compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' data assets are secure and compliant with regulatory standards. While data governance is a nice-to-have, our primary focus will be on leveraging Purview's robust security and compliance features.

Data Security:
Implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies to safeguard sensitive information.
Manage data classification and labeling to ensure proper handling and protection.
Monitor for unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
Conduct audits and gap analyses to identify and address compliance gaps.
Develop and maintain documentation and reporting mechanisms for audits.
Staying Updated:
Keep abreast of the latest security threats and regulatory changes.
Continuously update strategies and policies to align with new requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, with a focus on security and compliance features.
Experience with data protection frameworks and regulations.
Strong ability to design and implement security policies and procedures.
Knowledge of risk management and incident response.
Excellent communication skills to translate technical requirements into business terms.
Technical skills in Azure services and relevant certifications (e.g., SC-400: Implement Information Protection in Microsoft 365; - AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a plus.
