Job Title: AI Engineer (Microsoft Specialist)
Location: Remote

A client of mine have recently been awarded a new project. As such they require the support of an AI Engineering Contractor to support their work for delivery. The client has good relationship with Microsoft and the work will involve working in this environment primarily.
The role is Outside IR35 and remote working.
AI Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and fine-tune machine learning models using Microsoft Phi and Azure AI Foundry for diverse business applications.
Leverage Azure services (DataBricks, Data Factory) for data processing, pipeline creation, and model deployment in scalable cloud environments.
Integrate and manage large datasets using Azure Data Factory and Azure Event Hub for real-time data processing and efficient model training.
Build and optimise end-to-end AI workflows on Microsoft Fabric to ensure seamless and automated data ingestion, transformation, and model deployment.
Utilise C# to develop backend services and APIs for integrating AI models and solutions within business systems and applications.
Design and implement event-driven systems using Azure Event Hub to support real-time data analytics and trigger AI model actions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions with existing infrastructure, ensuring proper documentation and communication throughout the development lifecycle.
Continuously monitor and improve AI models' performance and accuracy, troubleshooting any issues or inefficiencies in model deployment.
Ensure that AI solutions are developed and deployed in alignment with industry security and compliance standards, particularly in the context of Azure's ecosystem.

- UCLH, one of London’s key cancer centres, is seeking to recruit a Clinical Trials Assistant on 12-month fixed-term contract to support a growing number of cancer clinical trials. The successful candidate will be based within the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU) based in 250 Euston Road. The main role of the clinical trials assistant is to support the CCTU team in the administration and running of the in-house, national and international phase I, II and III clinical trials. Responsibilities include contacting patients by phone, assisting the clinical trial practitioners and research nurses with the booking of patient appointments. Other tasks include creation and maintenance of files for clinical trials, handling of correspondence, and processing or handling of blood and tumour tissue samples.
