Key Responsibilities
Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.).
Map, clean, and process data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and recommend master data management improvements.
Develop reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
Create and maintain solution and data-flow diagrams to support governance and documentation.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards such as GDPR.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure data accessibility
Requirements
5+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or Reporting, preferably in financial services.
Proven experience in data analysis across at least two large-scale HR system replacement projects involving data migration (ideally SAP SuccessFactors and Sage People).
Strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
Hands-on experience working with data across the Hire to Retire value stream.
Ability to work with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of data security, GDPR compliance, and best practices in data governance.

About The Role Data Scientists within the Fulfilment department research, design and build models and algorithms to optimise decisions.
