Primary skills: QA Testing Automation, REXX, JCL, z/OS
Nice to have: Basic understanding of Ansible, Basic understanding of Batch Scheduling software (IBM Z Workload Scheduler, CA7 Workload Automation, Control-M, ZEKE)
Responsibilities:
· Write manual test cases and develop automation covering each case
· Write test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on requirements and specifications provided
· Perform workflow analysis and recommend improvements
· Collaborate with subject matter experts, product owner and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of test cases and test automation
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, uplifting it as per industry standards
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in mainframe testing
· Strong knowledge of coding with REXX and JCL language
· Ability to perform application testing of a closed source product
· Knowledge of test automation tools, methodologies, and standards
· Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
· Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
Nice to have:
· Ability to maintain control over project responsibilities
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Knowledge of banking industry
