About the Role
As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in optimising infrastructure, enhancing security, and leveraging cloud technologies to drive efficiency. The company has recently migrated the majority of its infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform and is looking for an experienced professional to help refine and develop system-wide solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all platforms.
Develop standardised solutions for servers and networks.
Automate processes wherever possible.
Collaborate with development teams to engineer system-wide solutions.
Maintain high standards across the engineering team.
Empower teams with self-service solutions.
Participate in an on-call rotation providing remote support.
Key Skills & Experience
Linux operating systems (Debian, RHEL/Centos).
Google Cloud Platform is essential
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Packer).
Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes).
