Technical Project Manager
Duration: 6 Month Contract (Initially)
Location: Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh or Halifax (2 days in office/3 home)
Rate: Very strong date rate (Umbrella)

We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile Banking clients. They are currently looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join them for an initial 6-month contract with high possibility of long term extension.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Project Manager is to coordinate dependencies between the Lab and stakeholders internally, this may include other labs, platforms, Group Executive Functions and 3rd parties, this may include coordinating complex and high-risk implementations. You will be part of a lab focussed on a programme of work related to backup and recovery, implementation of new products to enhance a cyber vault and data security/protection.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
Proven senior level hands on project management skills, ideally within a banking environment.
Technical experience such as NetBackup, storage, data protection or Dell products would give you a distinct advantage
Proven with the use of Agile/Jira/Confluence tools
A Banking/Financial services background

Responsibilities:
Develops the sequence for integration related tasks in collaboration with the PO and aligned to the Lab backlog.
Catalogues and manages dependencies between the lab and other teams.
Works with stakeholders outside of the lab to ensure interlock to enable the lab to deliver at pace.
Identifies blockers to delivery and where possible mitigates / resolves, escalating to product owner(s) / lab leadership where required.
Acts as interface between the supplier (3rd Party) and key business stakeholders.
Manages complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.
Coordinates the integration process and / or implementation events across shared infrastructure (e.g. Upgrading the Mainframe); leads on the SI process, coordinating parties to get the change over the line.
Provides expertise (not content) for governance activity owned by the Product Owner, e.g. PRIA, for change across multiple labs.

Develop and implement methodologies, validation plans, training materials, and competency assessments for digital forensic tasks (e.g., mobile phone, computer, and media extractions). Provide expert support to Digital Forensic Specialists on complex technological and eDiscovery issues, sharing knowledge and resolving challenges collaboratively. Contribute to strategic planning, review, and coordination of DFU Examiner Training in collaboration with the Head of DFU and Digital Forensic Consultants.
