Job description:
We are a Global Energy company seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a specialization in the procurement of Global Commodity & Market Data & Insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements with key market data providers, ensuring cost efficiency and strategic alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strong commercial acumen, market knowledge, and stakeholder management skills to drive optimal procurement outcomes.

The candidate is expected to help:
Develop and execute sourcing initiatives with key market data providers such as S&P, LSEG, Moody’s, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), and others.
Drive contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements to secure the best value for the organization.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize service quality and pricing structures.
Stay up to date with market trends, pricing models, and innovations in the data and insights sector.
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to ensure data procurement strategies support business objectives.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising data quality or business requirements.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
Develop supplier performance metrics and continuously assess vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.

The individual should have:

Proven experience in procurement, particularly within the market data & insights category.
Strong knowledge of commercial models, pricing structures, and service offerings from key global data providers.
Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to drive deals efficiently while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Experience in working with global suppliers and navigating complex commercial agreements.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and seniorities.
A commercially astute mindset, with a focus on delivering cost efficiencies.
Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market opportunities and supplier capabilities.
Experience in managing procurement processes within a regulated environment is a plus.
