Business Support Assistant

Meraki Talent is partnered with a leading financial services business to appoint a Business Support Assistant to their Edinburgh or Glasgow team. This is an office based, 9 month contract offering an excellent salary and benefits.
The purpose of the Business Support Assistant is to assist various departments with document preparation, administrative tasks, and stakeholder support.
Responsibilities include:
Produce high-quality documents such as reports, letters, proposals, presentations, and mail merges using Microsoft Office tools.
Ensure all documents are accurate, free of errors, and aligned with company guidelines.
Conduct compliance checks as part of the client onboarding process.
Assist with expense and mileage claim submissions.
Provide front desk support, including managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, welcoming visitors, and arranging refreshments (as applicable).
Support operational projects, process improvements, and other administrative initiatives.
Perform general administrative and data entry tasks to support office or business unit needs.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Experience working in an office services environment – ideally in legal or professional services
Experience of document management including letters, mail merges (essential)
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work
The ability to multitask and prioritise workload
