Meraki Talent’s hugely successful, global commercial client is actively looking for a Info Sec Ops Analyst to work within their growing team. The Info Sec Ops Analyst will be responsible for the Cyber platforms and tools across the estate to identify threats to ensure the protection of systems and digital assets. This role would suit an Info Sec Ops Analyst who is looking to move to a hugely tech invested global business that understands the importance of security, or an Infra Analyst (Or similar!) with a grounding in security that can evidence their ability and passion for this part of the sector.
Responsibilities of the Info Sec Ops Analyst:
- Monitor security alerts and events to identify threats, investigate and analyse alerts to determine their impact and scope
- Evaluate alerts based on impact
- Act to contain security incidents, documenting details
- Stay informed about the latest threats and vulnerabilities
- Generate reports on incidents, trends, and vulnerabilities
- Vulnerability assessment and pen testing
Background of the Info Sec Ops Analyst:
- A grounding in CyberSec/InfoSec is essential for this role. Our client is looking for someone who is either making their way in the Cyber spec, or perhaps someone from an Infra space involved with a good bit of InfoSec exposure, looking for a pure Cyber role
- A good grounding in Microsoft Technologies is essential, knowledge of MS Defender is absolutely essential for this role
- A technically curious mindset is essential, as well as a passion for security
- Ability to work in the Lanarkshire office 3 days per week is essential

They are looking for someone who has a strong background as a Project Manager / Business Analyst within the asset management / investment space. Moreover, someone who has exceptional stakeholder management skills, the ability to communicate with different levels within the business and lead workshops.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst / Project Manager
Lead the delivery of key enhancements for Front Office Supervision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Work closely with stakeholders across Trading, Risk, and Technology to define requirements and drive solutions.

Meraki Talent is working with a globally renowned financial institution to recruit a Data Analyst. This role sits within the Non-Financial Risk function, supporting key initiatives to enhance risk controls and improve operational efficiency across the organization.
This role is part of a critical initiative aimed at enhancing risk management processes and improving control frameworks across the business. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, with a focus on identifying opportunities for process optimization. Additionally, strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as the ability to use data insights to drive strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst
Lead data analysis activities for the Trading Controls programme, identifying improvements to mitigate unauthorized trading risk.
Work with business partners to clarify problems and opportunities, proposing solutions based on detailed data analysis of controls and processes.
Analyse large data sets across the trade lifecycle, identifying trends, patterns, and outliers to improve control design and operations.
Prototype control reports and dashboards using existing data sources, validating design assumptions with Front Office Supervisors and Asset Class NFRs.
Refine functional requirements to produce business-ready artefacts such as Requirement Documents, Process Flows, and Data Models.
Essential Background of the Data Analyst
Strong experience using advanced data analysis tools such as Excel, MS Access/VBA, Alteryx, and Python to process and analyse large trading data sets.
In-depth knowledge of markets trading products, trade lifecycle, and front-to-back trading flows.
Proven experience as a Business/Data Analyst within markets, particularly in trade lifecycle, product control, and traded risk processes.
Experience developing MI/Dashboard prototypes using analytical tools like Tableau or Qlikview.
Strong skills in drafting business/data requirements, data mapping, and process and data flow diagrams.
