My client is looking for Network Data Engineer, and I wanted to know whether this would be of interest to you or not?
Position: Network Data Engineer
Location: Sheffield, UK (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months contract
Key Skills:
Strong experience with IP routing including TCP/IP and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Experience in Virtual network environments like Cisco ACI and NSX.
Experience in network security firewalling, with a focus on design and implementation.
Experience in network management and network monitoring tools
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues Collaboration:
Work closely with network architects, software developers, and operations teams to align objectives with business goals.
Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues.
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Automation & Integration:
Develop and test network automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and REST APIs.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered.
Excellent experience in network engineering.
Experience with containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

IT Security Compliance - NHS Security Specialist Contract role - 17th March planned start - 3 month initial Office based in Doncaster - need to be able to commute if required (role primarily remote) Up to £600 p/d outside IR35 Our customer, an organisation specialising in assisting healthcare providers in their digitisation, are in urgent need of an IT Security Compliance specialist on a contract basis to assist on an NHS client compliance project. We need you to be able to: Demonstrate your experience of IT Security within the NHS - knowledge of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) and the NHS Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) will be essential. Evidence your assess the current landscape and identify where gaps are in compliance. Gather evidence of both compliance and non-compliance from policies, use of admin accounts, investigations of suspect access, password compliance, lock outs, etc. Using your collection of evidence, draft DSPT documentation and plans to remediate any issues as soon as possible. Provide technical cybersecurity support - utilisation of cyber security dashboard for reporting, technical response to any incident, identifying security vulnerabilities as required, etc. Ideally, you will be able to start this position immediately.
