Set in 70 acres of abundant gardens, it commands panoramic views of the city skyline including Edinburgh Castle. Just a mile north of the city centre, it's a treasure trove of natural wonders dating back more than 350 years.
Heritage Portfolio is looking to recruit a self-motivated Stores Person for the Royal Botanic Garden to support with day-to-day operations on site across the Royal Botanic Gardens.
What You’ll Do
To accept all deliveries into the site
Ensure that all food safety, health and safety and compliance paperwork is completed daily
Deliver the items around the site, ensuring that transfers are completed through the spreadsheet on the team’s page at the end of each day
Work closely with the chefs, retail managers and event teams to plan your day
Look for efficient ways to carry out your day-to-day role
Support and training for catering team members to cover role on days off
Ensure that the service yard is kept clean and tidy at all times
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all storerooms and cellars
Work closely with the kitchen on stock management and rotation in the refrigeration units
