We are seeking an experienced IAM Migration Specialist with 20+ years of overall experience to join our team. This role is critical in managing identity and access management (IAM) systems, ensuring robust security protocols, and overseeing user access controls within the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and optimize IAM solutions in line with evolving business needs and security regulations.
Job Responsibilities/ObjectivesUser and Access Management


Create and manage user groups to simplify access management and streamline IAM policies.
Administer user accounts and access permissions to ensure data security against internal and external breaches.
Security and Compliance


Design and implement security protocols using a risk-based approach, including role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, and conditional data access.
Enforce data protection policies and ensure compliance with IAM-related regulations.
Regularly review access control reports and participate in IAM audits to detect and mitigate potential cyber threats.
Develop and oversee disaster recovery plans to ensure secure data backup and emergency response measures.
Collaboration and Coordination


Work closely with the IAM team to ensure efficient user access control while minimizing operational risks.
Seamlessly coordinate with business analysts, stakeholders, application teams, cybersecurity teams, IT operations, and internal customers to understand and meet access requirements.
Project Management and Innovation


Actively participate in IAM projects and initiatives to enhance security measures and access control policies.
Foster a culture of research and development to innovate new IAM solutions.
Adapt IAM systems to changing business requirements, market trends, and evolving cybersecurity threats.
Documentation and Training


Maintain updated and comprehensive documentation of IAM systems and processes.
Assist IAM analysts in conducting training sessions for employees on best practices in identity and access management.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in IAM technologies.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
20+ years of overall experience, with substantial expertise in IAM solutions and migrations.
Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
Experience in IAM audit processes, access reviews, and compliance enforcement.
Expertise in developing and implementing security protocols and disaster recovery strategies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
Certifications in IAM-related fields (eg, CISSP, CISM, CIAM, etc.).
Experience in large-scale IAM migration projects.
Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta, etc.).
