We would not be able to do what we do without our dedicated IT experts! A huge part of our success is our successful IT teams across our manufacturing sites. We’re now looking for an experienced IT Systems & Support Engineer to join the team at our Scunthorpe manufacturing site.

Overview
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking and desktop support, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to the Group.

Duties
Manage and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications across the organisation
Provide desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting issues for customers across our 5 manufacturing sites
Support and maintain IT equipment at site and Group level
Working as part of the broader IT team to deliver project, on time and within budget
Collaborating with stake holders to deliver solutions to IT and no-IT related challenges facing the business
Training new starters on our IT systems and equipment
Nominated support to provide support to remote users within the Group
Research and develop new opportunities for technology to be deployed across the business
Requirements
Proficient knowledge of computer networking principles and practices.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Azure and Office 365 (support, administer and migrate)
Knowledge of basic networking functionality (DHCP & DNS Support)
Time and attendance software (support and maintenance)
MS Teams (Support and maintenance)
SQL Server (Support and maintenance)
Exchange (2019 and above)
VMware or HyperV
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail
