Job Title: Technical Assistant – Capacity Change Coordinator
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, UK
Assignment Length: 10 Mar 2025 – 30 Jun 2025 (with potential to extend)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
IR35: Inside IR35
Are you ready to be part of a high-impact team within the renewable energy sector? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Capacity Change Coordinator to help us effectively manage the forecasting of planned and unplanned outages, ensuring accuracy and improving the overall efficiency of energy generation.
What You’ll Do:
Outage Forecasting: Accurately forecast all planned and unplanned outages in the reporting system, ensuring precise timing and minimal disruption to green energy generation.
Risk Assessment: Classify outages correctly to identify and mitigate risk areas, ensuring that the system reflects true operational status.
Collaboration: Work closely with Planners, Project Managers, Central Control, and Execution Managers to align outage information, and ensure that all schedules are accurately reflected.
Continuous Improvement: Ensure high levels of system accuracy and contribute to process improvements, adapting quickly to changes in the work environment.

This role is crucial in ensuring engineering and design documents are reviewed accurately, scopes are fully defined, and constructability is prioritised. You will be responsible for compiling job cards based on engineering information, ensuring technical quality is maintained within budgeted hours and delivery schedules. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with site construction and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution. You will provide regular progress updates, manage scope and schedule changes, and contribute to technical queries where required. Financial Services Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Fund Transformation Delivery Analyst to join the existing team on a brand-new project. This role is based in London/Telford/Wythall. This role will be Via Umbrella. Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on a local site. Key Skills and Experience Using your knowledge and experience, assist key stakeholders in shaping the fund transformation delivery pipeline. Working with internal and external stakeholders, identify activities required to be executed as part of a fund transformation and build out delivery runbooks to capture and track those activities. Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders and external parties to ensure alignment with the overall goal of the transformation and to obtain their support in delivering the required outputs. Identify and escalate risks, issues and dependencies that are likely to affect the transformation and work with stakeholders to develop and execute mitigation plans. Develop appropriate documentation to be utilised when engaging with external vendors to convey requirements and assess their capabilities. Build and maintain key artefacts to support the fund transformation eg scoping document(s), process design documentation etc. Use your knowledge of funds and the environments they operate within to help subject matter experts solve complex problems across different subject matters.
