Your challenge

As a Solution Engineer, you dedicate yourself to one of our industry-specific solutions. You develop and improve OMP’s industry solution and enrich its functionality in a robust, innovative, and scalable way, applying your expertise to solve real live industry challenges for our customers.

You Are Responsible For

Translating functional requirements into technical industry-specific solution designs and algorithms.
Fine-tuning and detailing designs and translating them into technical specifications.
Writing code that lives up to our high-quality standards, in adherence to scrum methodology and compliant with the most recent standards in your preferred technology.
Discussing and validating functional requirements in close collaboration with our seasoned solution managers, solution analysts, and solution consultants.
Reviewing code written by your team members.
Collaborating closely with software and quality assurance test engineers, analysts, consultants, technical writers, and project managers.
Maintaining and supporting your developments according to user feedback.
Growing your expertise and command in your favorite technology.

Your team

As a Solution Engineer, you’ll join the Industry team, as part of our Customer Solutions organization. The Industry team realizes the targets and strategies set in the industry business plans together with the Commercial and Delivery teams. The Industry team guides and supports the Commercial and Delivery teams with industry-specific commercial expertise, advice, and solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar, or equivalent by experience.
Passionate about writing high-quality software.
Powerful technical skills and a creative mindset.
The eagerness to learn and stay on the edge of technology.
Excellent algorithmic and conceptual thinking.
A passion for working in a multinational, customer-driven environment.
A customer-centric attitude.

Bonus Points If You Have

Relevant work experience, including internships.
Experience in using software development best practices (e.g., design patterns, UML, Git, automated testing).
Experience in developing multi-tier, asynchronous and distributed systems.
