Data Engineer required for a Renewable Energy company who are helping to lead the way in renewable energy production, trading and security. With the UK pledging £24 Bn to Renewable Energy in the back end of last year, this will be a major focus for the growth of the UK economy.

Our client is an up-and-coming disruptor in the Energy Production and Trading space, honing the best talent in the market to trade renewable energy B2B. Whilst fossil fuels are increasingly being phased out and relied upon less and less, this mover and shaker will be helping to push the UK further into the arms of Renewables.

£550 per day (Outside IR35)

6 months contract – scope for extension

Energy experience is ESSENTIAL

SQL, Python, Tableau

Hybrid – London

As a Data Engineer, you will be refactoring reports and migrating between billing systems. This Data Engineer role will involve heavy use of SQL to refactor code and execute the migration. The responsibilities of this Data Engineer will be split between ETL Engineering, for which Python is used alongside Data Warehousing, speaking to stakeholders to gather requirements, and creating dashboards to display insights in Tableau.

Experience needed for Data Engineer role;
Extensive SQL experience
Commercial Tableau experience is essential
Python experience for ETL pipelines
Clear examples of stakeholder management and requirement gathering
