Cloud Security Engineer (Contract) - Hybrid - London - Inside IR35

Shape the Future of Cloud Security with Zero Trust

We’re seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to play a key role in advancing Zero Trust Strategy. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a Security Architect and cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge security solutions that protect cloud environments at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading the assessment and deployment of Zero Trust security tools and frameworks
Ensuring secure access to cloud resources through well-defined policies and controls
Collaborating with technical teams to integrate security seamlessly into Azure and GCP environments
Supporting the adoption of VPC Service Controls, ZTNA, EDR, and MDM solutions
Driving best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CI/CD, and Git

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
GCP or Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-500)
Proven experience in cloud security architecture & implementation
Hands-on expertise in container security and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of Zero Trust principles and their real-world application
Ability to implement Conditional Access policies as code
A proactive, self-driven mindset with excellent communication skills

Location: Remote/Hybrid (flexible based on project needs)
Contract Duration: 6 months initial contract
