The Automation Team Leader plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency within our injection moulding operations. The role holder would ensure that automation projects are aligned with business goals, delivered on time, and meet safety and quality standards. Requirements
Qualifications:
Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Relevant technical experience in automation, robotics, or PLC programming.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in automation within FMCG environment, preferably injection moulding.
Proven experience in leading and developing a technical team.
Demonstrated success in delivering cost-reduction and efficiency improvement projects.
Track record of delivering projects on time
Experience with handling and automating processes for products that are inherently challenging due to their flexibility, variability, or unpredictable movement characteristics. Prior experience with complex, non-rigid components (such as cable ties, wires, or other free-moving items) is highly desirable.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Proficient in PLC programming, HMI development.
Expertise in robotic integration and motion control systems.
Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and automation applications.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in engineering operations.
