The Company
My client who are already well-established are experiencing another period of growth and are subsequently looking for a driven IT Manager/Project Manager to join the team and they embark on an exiting IT transformation.
They are based in Redditch and are looking for the successful candidate to be primarily office based, although some flexibility can be accommodated.
The Role
The successful candidate will oversee IT projects, infrastructure management, and ensure the on-going development and maintenance of key business applications including CRM and the website.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on technical work and strategic project management, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the IT landscape.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the company's IT direction, work with third-party service providers and developers, and ensure technology supports the business effectively.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a similar IT Manager/Project Manager role with broad responsibilities and a lot of autonomy.
Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity best practices, and disaster recovery planning.
Leadership skills, with experience mentoring or managing team members preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with large databases, ideally MySQL but others are considered.
Proficiency in working with APIs for system integrations and automation.
Experience with managing cloud based server solutions and familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
Basic PHP knowledge would be great but is not essential.
