Our client, a key energy distribution player in Belgium, is actively engaged in its Smart Grid transition and digital transformation. To support this initiative, our client is seeking a Junior Data Quality Analyst to enhance data governance and quality for its energy network supervision and monitoring systems.
The Junior Data Quality Analyst will be part of our client’s AI & Data Governance team, contributing to the structural improvement of data quality across the company’s digital and Smart Grid projects.
The role involves identifying, analyzing, and addressing data quality issues, as well as supporting data governance strategies.
Data Quality Monitoring:
Detect and document data quality issues, propose resolutions.
Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate and analyze the causes of data inconsistencies.
Process Improvement:
Assist in enhancing data governance processes.
Training & Change Management:
Support data producers in adopting best practices.
Collaboration:
Work with business, IT, and Smart Grid teams to improve data integration.
Technical Support:
Provide insights on data profiling and quality control methodologies.
Key Requirements Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Data Science, or related fields.
Experience:
Entry-level to 3 years in a Data Analyst or Data Quality role.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying and profiling.
Familiarity with data governance tools like Soda, Great Expectations (preferred).
Knowledge of SAP ECC, S4/HANA, or SAP SAC Analytics (a plus).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to document, track, and communicate data quality issues.
Autonomous while being a team player.
Languages: French (C1 level) - Required English - Preferred
