An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-known hospitality/retail business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for someone with a strong commercial finance background who thrives in fast-paced, multi-site environments.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight, commercial decision support, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for:
• Financial Analysis: Providing insight into key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting decision-making.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Managing budgets, forecasts, and payroll planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Business Partnering: Working with operational teams to improve financial performance, streamline processes, and enhance reporting.
• Strategic Planning: Supporting long-term financial planning, tracking commercial projects, and analysing market trends.
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and maximise commercial opportunities.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis & Projects: Evaluating business proposals, providing commercial analysis, and ensuring ROI aligns with company objectives.
Who We’re Looking For:
To be considered, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with at least 5 years post-qualified experience.
You should also have:
• A background in hospitality, retail, or consumer sectors – this is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel (macros, index match, pivots, etc.).
• Experience in multi-site businesses, working with large data sets and commercial reporting.
• The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with confidence.
• Experience using Power BI, D365, or other business intelligence tools (desirable).

This role is to provide technical leadership for the Networks team, providing deep technical guidance to these teams. They will engage with other Lead Infrastructure Engineers, Technical Leads, Delivery Leads, New Service Managers and Architects to deliver solutions to agreed designs, contributing to business-as-usual activities, work packages and strategic planning. The role holder will take forward technical consolidation and/or improvement activities providing guidance and leadership to technicians throughout the IT Operations Practice and wider, whilst also working across Transformation and Technology to support and deliver solutions in line with the Technology and Business Strategies.
