Quality lies at the heart of HiDef’s services and the company is looking to recruit a Data Reviewer to join our dedicated Review team. This position within the company offers significant opportunities for the right person who will be enthusiastic, methodical, diligent, an excellent team player with effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Location: this position is based at our office in Lillyhall, West Cumbria.

The Role

This role supports the Review Coordinators and Review Team Leaders with first stage data processing by reviewing footage to detect birds, mammals, and other objects, which are then viewed by our team of ornithologists for identification.

Principal Responsibilities

Carry out first stage data processing to detect birds, mammals, and other objects, by reviewing video footage of specific survey areas;
Maintain high review standards and objectives - 90% pass rate when reviewing footage;
Save data in the correct location;
Ensure compliance with Company policy by correctly using the Time and Attendance software to record time taken for each task / project;
Contribute to the continuous improvement process by working to reduce the time taken to review footage, while always maintaining a quality processes;
Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures;
Ensure continuous development by participating in any relevant training; and
Carry out other duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and manage time efficiently;
Ability to work as part of a larger team to ensure key deliverables are met;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels;
Effective organisational skills; and
Proficient IT skills, including an understanding of MS Teams, is desirable however full training will be provided.

Benefits / Remuneration

Salary, starting from £24,820 per annum.

Working hours are based on Monday-Friday between 08:00-17:00, flexible options available.
