The Opportunity

A boutique digital consultancy is scaling up its Solution Architect function to drive technical delivery on a large-scale public sector transformation project. With a focus on AWS migration, FinOps, and delivery execution, this role offers a hands-on challenge in a highly regulated environment.

What You'll Do

Deliver technical solutions, not just strategy – hands-on AWS migration, system modernisation, and FinOps optimisation.
Work within strict regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive solution design and execution.
Mentor and upskill in-house architecture teams to build long-term capability.
Influence stakeholders, balancing technical needs with business objectives.
Operate in an agile, product-centric environment, ensuring quality and adaptability.

Technical Environment & Requirements

AWS-first – Migrating legacy systems into AWS.
Kafka – Event streaming and real-time data processing.
Data Storage Technologies – Various solutions in play.
Confluence – Documentation and collaboration.
Languages and Frameworks – Knowledge of cloud-based technologies.
Legacy Tech – Transitioning from older systems to modern cloud architecture.
Recent Public Sector Projects – Experience delivering E2E Cloud solutions within central government or public sector environments.
