As a Senior Functional Analyst with proven experience in the banking and insurance sectors, you will manage the functional design of information systems. With over 5 years of experience, your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Design and Analysis: Create concepts and manage the planning for the preliminary analysis and design phases of projects.
Functional Analysis: Perform the functional analysis of information systems and develop functional designs after the pre-study phase.
Change Management: Support changes and enhancements from development through production, ensuring smooth transitions.
System Enhancements: Recommend and implement system improvements to optimize performance and meet client needs.
Program Requirements and Specifications: Develop new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs.
System Support: Assist with system upgrades and resolve issues with current systems.
Service Request Analysis: Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements, and project time estimates.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Proven Experience in Banking and Insurance: A strong background in both banking and insurance, demonstrating your expertise in industry-specific requirements.
Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, ensuring flexible and efficient project execution.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess systems and propose solutions.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Data-Driven: Ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
IT Security: Knowledge of IT security principles within banking and insurance.
Software Development: Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
Additional Competencies:
5+ years of relevant experience in functional analysis and design.
Strong understanding of banking and insurance operations.
Fluent in English; French and Dutch are a plus.
