Role Objective
We plan & buy advertising communications for clients across all channels including TV, radio, and digital platforms like paid search and social media. Together with our clients we want to understand how we are getting on – we want to know what is working and what is not – meaning we need insightful data at our fingertips to power decisions.
We’re not just looking for someone who builds data pipelines, we’re looking for someone who can collaborate with non-technical teams to help identify new use cases for data and cloud tech, and help drive efficiencies across Mindshare and for our clients.
About The Role
You will:
Work closely with Business Intelligence and Marketing Science teams to build data models and automated solutions that meet their requirements.
Develop and manage automated data, ML and AI tools for our internal media teams and our clients.
Build and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines.
Work with our central DevOps team to set up and manage cloud environments (we mainly use GCP).
Collaborate with non-technical teams to identify opportunities where data or automation could enhance their or our client’s day-to-day operations.
Keep up to date with the latest AI and cloud technology, investigate potential use cases and build POCs.
Create and maintain detailed documentation and design specifications.
About You
Passionate about solving real-world business problems with data & technology.
Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to perform complex data transformations on large datasets in an efficiently manner.
Ability to interact with non-technical teams and translate their requirements into technical, data-driven solutions.
Experience setting up and maintaining cloud environments, data pipelines and automated tools/services.
Experience implementing DevOps or MLOPs best practices.
Comfortable working with APIs to extract data.
Understanding of data warehouse design principles and best practices.
Programming experience in Python is desirable but not essential.
Prior experience working in a cloud, data or ML engineering role.
Solid MS Office skills, ability to create good presentations and technical documents.
