About The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral part in ensuring that all children, including those with SEN, receive the support they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities
Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom management
Provide one-to-one and small group support, especially for children with SEN
Assist in creating and implementing personalised learning plans
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Encourage children to take responsibility for their learning and development
Promote social, emotional, and academic growth in students, helping them build resilience and confidence
Support the safeguarding and well-being of all students
Requirements
Previous experience working with children, particularly in a classroom or educational setting is desirable
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development, especially those with SEN
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and parents
Proactive, flexible, and adaptable with a positive attitude
