Key Responsibilities Of The Part-time Teaching Assistant (TA)
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects.
Work closely with children, offering targeted support to ensure they meet their learning objectives.
Support children’s social and emotional development by encouraging positive interactions and behaviour.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to reviews.
Ensure the classroom is a safe, inclusive, and productive environment for all learners.

About The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will be crucial in supporting students with Special Educational Needs. As a valued member of the school community, you will provide tailored assistance, ensuring students receive the guidance they need to excel academically and socially.
Responsibilities
Support students with SEN needs in their learning and personal development.
Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised learning plans (ILPs).

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs.
A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

About The Role

Requirements Of Teaching Assistant (TA)
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Prior experience in supporting students is essential.
Demonstrate a deep commitment to helping students, exhibiting patience and empathy.
Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all members of the school community.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or training in education are desirable.
