Job Specifications

A US Hedge Fund, with a small, expanding satellite office in London, are looking to hire a Trader Assistant.

Working directly for the European Head Trader, the hire will run a remit that is broad – he/she will manage prime broker relationships, all trade breaks & issues, PM limits & requests, performance & risk reports, oversee execution etc. The hire will also regularly work on a wide range of projects for the trading team.

The intention is for the hire to progress into an outright trader role, within 2yrs, in line with fund growth (an internal move to the New York office is also not out of the question).

We are looking for candidates with 2-5yrs relevant experience, who have ambitions to progress into trading. A passion for financial markets is key. Candidates must have advanced excel, with any VBA, SQL or Python skills extremely beneficial.
